Modern Sounds endeavors to keep most products in stock at all times except for special order and custom order items. For most orders, you can expect delivery in 3 to 5 business days. On items that are special order we generally allow for 7-10 business days however, certain items may take longer. We will inform you every step of the way and provide you with email updates and a tracking number so you know when to expect your purchase to arrive.
For custom orders of audiophile products please allow 2 to 6 weeks for delivery. Many of these items are built to order and require special handling and freight shipping. We will keep you updated and provide updated shipping information.

1. Obtain A Return Authorization
Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1.844.831.5881 to request authorization. Please call if your item was shipped by freight carrier, was shipped direct from the manufacturer, or involves a defective product.
2. Pack Your Items Carefully
Returned items must be new and in the original packaging, complete with all original accessories and manuals. To protect products in shipping, Modern Sounds over-boxes most products. Please use the original over-box and the manufacturer’s packaging.
3. Return The Item Using Canada Post or Courier
For returns, please ensure that you use a courier or mail service that provides both tracking and insurance. Modern Sounds cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
You may choose an exchange or a refund for the full amount of the items you purchased.
Refunds must be issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other form of payment used in the original transaction.
The money-back guarantee does not apply to in-ear headphones, software, downloads, gift certificates or custom order items.
Items Must Be New
Modern Sounds may refuse a customer return or charge a restocking fee of 25% when the returned item is not like new. Examples of conditions that will lead to refused returns or restocking fees include when a product is:
• returned with a different serial number than the one Modern Sounds originally shipped.
• missing parts or missing the original product packing material.
• damaged because it was improperly packaged for return shipment.
• been obviously used.
How will I know if you've received my return?
We will email you confirming that the return was processed.
How long does it take Modern Sounds to process my return?
After we receive your package, we normally process your exchange or refund within two business days.
